Our Know Your Rights Training Courses gives an introduction to legal rights on a wide range of issues

Initially funded by the Community Fund as part of a Community Advocacy Project, the basic course is made up of 6 weekday morning sessions at the CAB's Training Centre in Great Yarmouth - one session each week on the topics detailed below

All Course Tutors are National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux trained staff

The Know Your Rights Training Course is made up of sessions on:

  • An introduction to your legal rights
  • Sale of goods and consumer problems
  • Domestic matters - renting property and relationship issues
  • Basic welfare benefits
  • Employment rights
  • Credit and debts

A CAB Certificate is given to everyone who attends all the sessions.

No previous experience is necessary and there is no exam or homework to complete - places are, however, limited to 10 for each course

The Know Your Rights Training Course is free of charge to individual members of the public
