Norfolk Youth and Community Service is part of Norfolk County Council which works with young people during their adolescence with a priority for those between 13-19, enabling them to

  • achieve their potential,

  • make informed decisions and

  • actively participate in society.

Youth work engages young people on a voluntary basis supporting them in their transition to adult life by enabling them to

  • gain knowledge,

  • develop skills and

  • explore attitudes within a framework of equality.

Youth work is based on young people’s needs with an emphasis on tackling disaffection and promoting social inclusion.
